Are you a first-time or experienced diver ? Choose between diving lessons for beginners, exploratory dives and theme-based diving excursions, all available from the diving clubs Subvision and Diamond Diving. You might also fancy trying out a night-time dive, to be dazzled by the myriad of colours that make the Mediterranean seabed so unique.

Discover our range of sailing boats, catamarans and motor boats to rent for a full day or half day. Professional agencies offer boats for rent from the Old Port of Golfe-Juan, ideally located just a few miles from the Lérins Islands. Have you always dreamed of learning how to sail ? Now is a great time to get started and obtain your yachtmaster qualification from one of our local sailing schools !

Contemporary craftwork and ceramic creations

Reputed for its contemporary craftwork and ceramic creations, certified “Ville et Métiers d’art” (a label that promotes towns and villages with a unique artistic heritage). Take a stroll through the quaint Provençal village and visit the Castle-museum and Pottery Museum to discover all the pottery and ceramics showcased in Vallauris, from the late 19th century to the present day. Wander through the narrow streets and delight in the numerous workshops of painters, potters and ceramic artists. Discover creations made with olive wood, glassware, traditionally made perfume and more. From February to December, these workshops open their doors every first Thursday of the month to share their art with the public !


Local markets and producers

Discover all our locally grown flowers, vegetables and citrus fruits on the stalls of the Provençal market in Vallauris every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 6 am to 1 pm at Place Paul Isnard. Take a stroll along the Golfe-Juan coastline to stock up on flowers, fruit and vegetables, every Tuesday and Friday morning. Finally, stop off at the local fish stall in the Old Port, on the Ponton des Pêcheurs. Every morning from Tuesday to Sunday, local fishermen sell fresh fish from the day’s catch. You can even place your order directly !
